The International Facility Management Association:
As the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) continues to spread globally, the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) is working to keep the FM community updated with the latest news, resources and information to help with emergency preparedness. The ongoing safety and functionality of the global built environment is of paramount importance during this difficult time and the ability to share resources, identify best practices and to prepare to reenter the workforce will ultimately turn the tide in this effort. The International Code Council:
The Code Council has developed a Coronavirus Response Center with best practices for building and fire prevention departments seeking to develop virtual solutions, results from a survey of code departments on virtual capabilities, and information on how codes facilitate our response to the pandemic.

Illuminating Engineering Society:
The Illuminating Engineering Society hosts two recent reports on the virtues of germicidal ultraviolet light, including their Committee Report on Germicidal Ultraviolet (GUV) and their Introduction to Ultraviolet and Visible Radiation Disinfection.
American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers:
ASHRAE’s COVID-19 Resource page provides technical resources to address the challenges of the current pandemic and future epidemics as it relates to the effects of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems on disease transmission in healthcare facilities, the workplace, home, public and recreational environments.
American Supply Association:
ASA’s COVID-19 Resource page details government actions, best practices, and information on safety and education as well as town hall style interviews.
American Society of Interior Designers:
ASID’s COVID-19 Resources page summarizes what the CARES Act means for design professionals, and provides industry survey results, useful links, industry letters, best practices for interior spaces, and webinar resources.
American Industrial Hygiene Association
In response to the need to protect workers and other building occupants as businesses and schools reopened during the COVID-19 pandemic, AIHA rapidly developed Back to Work Safely guidance documents. Covering 27 different workplace sectors and available at no charge, in both English and Spanish, these documents have been downloaded more than 1.3 million times, supported by celebrity entrepreneur Mark Cuban, and referenced by the CDC, OSHA, and States throughout the country.
